Who is responsible

This community is operated by PromptMetrics, Berlin, Germany (“we”). For privacy requests, use the contact details on promptmetrics.dev.

What we collect

• Account data — email address, username, display name, and anything you add to your profile (bio, headline, links). You provide this when you register.
• Content — posts, comments, reactions, and images you upload. Public posts are readable by anyone, including search engines.
• Session data — authentication cookies that keep you signed in.
• Usage analytics — page views and product events, collected only after you consent via the cookie banner.
• Error reports — technical diagnostics when something breaks, so we can fix it.

Services we run it on

Your data is processed by the infrastructure providers this site is built on: Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (network, consent management), Supabase (authentication, database, image storage), PostHog (product analytics, consent-gated), Sentry (error monitoring), Resend (transactional email such as digests and notifications), and Upstash (rate limiting). Each acts as a processor under its own data-processing agreement.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies handle sign-in sessions. Our product analytics is cookieless by design — it sets no analytics cookies and keeps no identifier beyond your browser session. The consent banner controls the optional Analytics and Marketing categories delivered through our edge provider; nothing in those categories runs unless you accept them. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask for a copy in a portable format, and object to or restrict processing. Deleting your account removes your profile; published posts may be retained in anonymized form to keep threads readable, unless you ask for their removal. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. Server logs and error reports are kept for the short windows our providers default to, then deleted.

If this policy changes materially, we’ll say so in the community. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. See also our terms of use.
