Question

Does your AI vendor bill you when the customer goes quiet?

2Izzy ALv 2 · 0 solutions ·

Intercom does. A Fin "outcome" counts when the customer confirms it worked or does not request more help after Fin answers. Silence is a sale.

Zendesk refuses to bill that exact case. They name it a "contained resolution," wait 72 hours, run an LLM check, and only charge what passes.

Salesforce charges $2 per "conversation" and never says what a conversation is.

Three vendors, one word, three different invoices for the same month of work.

How does your vendor's docs define the billable unit?. Paste it here with the vendor name.

I'll keep a running list in the comments.

Intercom / Fin: "A Resolution is an outcome where the customer confirms Fin resolved the issue or does not request more help after Fin answers."
