Is your org chart still built for a relay race that doesn't exist anymore?

Quick provocation: if an agent can draft, design, and execute most of a workflow in the time it used to take to schedule the kickoff meeting, does your org still need the specialist handoffs it was built around research to strategy to copy to design to engineering — each one waiting on the last?

We just watched it happen in our own work.

A launch that would've taken months of relay between those stages happened in a week, because there was no relay; just us, moving through all of it in the same sitting, with agents doing the specialist work on demand.

But it also created a problem I don't have a clean answer for yet: agents can produce a PRD faster and in more detail than ever, and now PRDs are queuing up waiting for a person to review them.

The speed didn't disappear. It just moved to a new bottleneck, and I don't think "review less carefully" is the fix.

Two real questions for this room: is your org still shaped for the relay, or have you already restructured around people who hold the whole picture instead of one lane of it? And if review is now your bottleneck, what have you actually done about it?
